Sardis Presbyterian Church will be hosting a CROP Hunger Walk to support Church World Service and three local agencies (Loaves and Fishes, Second Harvest Food Bank, and Crisis Assistance Ministry) to help families who are struggling with hunger. Join us on Sunday, November 12 for a day of worship, education, a food packing mission project, and a walk for all ages of children, youth, and adults as we partner with CROP Hunger Walk Charlotte.
- Worship at 9:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall & 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary
- Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall for all youth and adults. Hear from Kelly Vass, staff at Loaves & Fishes/Friendship Trays, and participate in sorting food donations for Loaves & Fishes.
- Lunch in the Sardis House at 12:00 p.m.
- CROP Hunger Walk around the Providence Day School track following lunch. Walk as you can or participate one of the seated opportunities: refill waters, hand out lap bracelets, cheer on walkers.
RSVP for the lunch by joining the Sardis’ CROP Walk team. Please click the button below to be directed to our team page. From here you can join our team and start fundraising, or just make a donation to support Sardis’ efforts. With your steps and your donations you will provide meals for the growing number of people in our community who need them, and greater food security in communities around the world.
You can also make a donation through Sardis online or by check made out to Sardis Presbyterian Church with CROP Hunger Walk in the memo line.
