Hi! I am Sarah Dianne, Director of Children’s Ministry at Sardis. I have been at Sardis since July 2019 and can honestly say that there’s never been a dull moment! My primary focus is to do ministry with the children and families of Sardis to help our youngest disciples build a strong foundation of faith. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, her my work (much like everyone else’s!) has moved to being almost fully digital. I consider it to have been a fun challenge to get creative in how we do things, and am grateful for the ways that families have jumped right in and are engaging in new ways!

I was born in Richmond, VA, but lived in Birmingham, AL, longer than anywhere else. Along with my cat Jeanie, I am adjusting to life in Charlotte after three years in Washington, DC. I spend my free time outside running, reading, or just listening to the fountain in the pond behind my apartment. I love to be around (but not in!) water, especially with a book, podcast, or something to color. My time in DC instilled a deep love of politics, and thanks to my dad, I am a sucker for American history. I am grateful for the chance to be a part of the life of Sardis Presbyterian!
