Courageous Conversations of Faith Series

The Faith Formation Ministry invites you to come to our next event in our Courageous Conversations series as we discuss “When Bad Things Happen”. Rev. Ashley-Anne Masters, Director of Presbyterian Campus Ministry of Raleigh, will be leading us in the topic.

We will meet on Tuesday, March 21 in the Sardis House. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for some social time and dessert. Our program will begin at 7:00 in person and via Zoom (contact Anne Shoaf for the Zoom information).

Rev. Ashley-Anne Masters is Director of Presbyterian Campus Ministry of Raleigh, which serves students at N.C. State, Meredith, Wake Tech and Peace. From April 2020-October 2021, she also served as a hospital chaplain during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. She holds degrees from Columbia Theological Seminary and Presbyterian College. Prior to campus ministry, she served as Manager of Spiritual Care at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Her clinical chaplaincy units were oncology, palliative care and transport. She is co-author of Bless Her Heart: Life  as a Young Clergywoman, author of Holding Hope: Grieving Pregnancy Loss During Advent, and contributor to Talking  Taboo: American Christian Women Get Frank About Faith. She is passionate about hearing other’s stories, resiliency and creating rituals to mark significant seasons of our lives.
