Hi! I’m Danelle, the Assistant for Administration & Membership at Sardis. I started at Sardis in 2010 as a part-time receptionist. I took a little break in 2013 and returned to Sardis in 2014 in my full-time position. My key duties include managing church calendar, keeping the church database/directory updated, answering phone calls and greeting members as they walk into the office, and coordinating with Membership Ministry to connect first-time and returning guests to Sardis.

I’m originally from Erie, PA and attended Edinboro University. After college I worked for the FOX TV affiliate in Erie. I then relocated to Charlotte in 1996. My first position in Charlotte was working for my home church, MUMC, where I’ve been a member since 1997. My husband Mark and I have two children, Sam and Sophie. We also have a huge puppy, Charlie, who is half St. Bernard and half American bulldog. When my family is not working or in school we can be found spending our time at the Whitewater Center here in Charlotte. We love to hike, raft, kayak, and take advantage of the outdoors. I absolutely love football! My two favorite teams are Virginia Tech and the Chicago Bears.
