Hi, I’m John, the Technical Arts Coordinator at Sardis since 2014. My key duties are to oversee all technical (audio, visual, lighting) elements of worship services and events. Since the pandemic, I found myself busy recording, cataloging, and editing our worship services to be streamed online!

I was born in Charlotte and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I went to Winthrop University for Jazz Guitar Performance/Composition. My wife, Amy, and I have a daughter Eleanor, and dog, Ray. I enjoy writing, going to Disney World, playing with the dog, and being board member of a local theatre.

I also enjoy my side gig in music/audio production. A fun fact: I have created music for Disney, Cartoon Network, Sony Pictures, MTV and more. I have had tracks in episodes of American Idol, The Looney Tunes Show, Family Guy, a few feature films, among others. I also makes music for a lot of animatronic toys (think holiday animals and silly things you find at Walgreens and similar places).
